NOVA

The room’s engine

NOVA has held the Velvet Rook residency since the doors opened — and the room is tuned around the way Nova plays: fast blends, long arcs, and drops timed to the second the floor is ready rather than the second the clock says so.

A former radio selector, Nova reads a crowd in minutes. The first thirty of any set is reconnaissance — twenty records tested, three directions chosen — and then the night locks in. Regulars know the tell: when the booth light goes red, the next ten minutes are the reason they came.

Outside the club, Nova runs a monthly re-edit series pressed in short runs for the booth — half of what you hear at REPLAY exists nowhere else.

Signature sound

• Peak-time house — driving, vocal-led, built for full floors.
• Booth-only re-edits — classics recut for the Rook system.
• Back-to-back chemistry — a standing b2b with VOSS at REPLAY.
• Replay hour — hands the 1 AM rewind to the crowd’s vote.
